SDCI French Immersion
Ours is a program created for non-
francophone students who will study French
language and culture through intensive
practice in a variety of subject areas. The
language of instruction is French not only
for language and literature classes but for
many other subjects as well. Students can
choose to take French-language versions of
Geography, History, Science, Career Studies,
Civics, Law, and Sociology/ Psychology /
Anthropology.
All courses fulfil the same learning
expectations as their English-language
counterparts, with the added bonus of
allowing students to earn their Immersion
or Extended French certificates at the same time!
